About the Brand

Poo & Parvati started with a thought I’ve had for years: I wanted to build a fashion and lifestyle brand that felt like me. Not just in how it looked, but in what it stood for.

I’ve always believed that the best things we bring into our lives should have a reason to be there. Something thoughtful. Something that makes sense. Something that gives you more than just another thing to own.

That’s the kind of brand I wanted to build.

And then there’s the name.

If you’ve watched Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, you probably already get it. If you know me, you probably get it even more.

I’ve been called Poo for as long as I can remember. And whenever I did something a little more traditional, a little more religious, someone would inevitably point out my Parvati side.

Somehow, the name stayed with me for years.

But Poo & Parvati was never really about Western versus Indian. It was about the different people we get to be.

The woman who wants to be dressed up, be seen, take up space and have a little main-character moment. And the woman who wants to slow down, be softer, feel grounded and do things her own way.

Sometimes she’s both before lunch.

Why should we have to pick one?

Poo & Parvati is my little corner of the world where all those sides get to exist together. Where clothes aren’t just about looking good, but about making sense in real life. Where a piece can be beautiful and still have a purpose.

We’re here to make things that earn their place in your wardrobe. Things you reach for, wear differently, make your own and come back to.

There’s a lot more I want to bring to life.

For now, welcome to Poo & Parvati.

With love,
